Once a Marine, Always a Marine

Marine Corps League Armed Forces Day 5K Run/Walk

WHEN:  May 19, 2012 ,  8AM Eastern 

WHERE:  Jasper Youth Sports Complex
(west of Kimball Industrial Park & across US 231 from the Jasper Inn)

WHY:  This is a fundraising event to support the activities of the Marine Corps League, Southern Indiana Leathernecks Detachment.  Some examples of our activities include:  sending phone cards and care packages to deployed Marines, providing funding for scholarships, assisting the Indiana Veteran’s Home in the purchase of needed equipment, participating in a wide variety of veteran’s events and local area parades, providing speakers to local area schools, and assisting Marines and former Marines and their families when needed.

To raise additional funds, participants can pursue individual sponsorships.  Raise $50 to waive your registration fee.  Click here for more information.
